Love Noir
Absence of color can be so romantic. I love making black and white cards. This card is a bit bigger than most of the others, it is 6x6 inches. The quotation on the front is from my favorite novel, Les Miserables. I even used it in one of the readings at my wedding!!! The white paper on the outside and inside is distressed with black ink to give it more that "love noir" look that I titled it. It took away the stark sharp contrast of the black and white and gave it a more weathered and romantic look. I considered stamping something on the inside as well, but decided that I would leave it blank for words of a lover to a lover.
